Title: Flying Fox Camp

This work speaks of the Yirritja Guku Niwuda (bush honey) and was passed to Lirririnyin by her father Binyinyuwuy. She says, ‘During the Rarranhdarr (build up) season when the rain starts, the flying fox travels into the forrest to rest while it rains. The bees are gathering nectar from the flowers and starts making honey’. This design is also used during the Dhapi (first initiation) and Ngarra (law) ceremony as body paint.
